The insurance approved our move to rehab (Brookes Rehab) But now Brookes wants us to wait a few days until we go, to try and get his neurostorms under control before we head out. So hopefully early next week we will be able to go.

Neurostorms: A term commonly used by nurses caring for these individuals to describe this phenomenon is storming. Symptoms can include alterations in level of consciousness, increased posturing, dystonia, hypertension, hyperthermia, tachycardia, tachypnea, diaphoresis, and agitation.

Michael is getting physical therapy, occupationally therapy, and speech therapy.

Even though he is doing better he is still not where we want him. He lays in bed and is sleeping or has his eyes open in  a blank stare. He has movements but not deliberate movement. He has started sneezing and yawning...which is adorable and I'm guessing is also a sign of waking up a little bit more.
